Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is the former name of the organisation that runs Frimley Park Hospital a 750-bed NHS hospital with 24 hour A&E and regional hyper acute services, in Frimley, Surrey. The Trust changed its name on 1 October 2014 to Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust when it acquired the neighbouring Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HWPH) under a mutually agreed arrangement supported by the local healthcare community, the Department of Health and NHS England, aimed at improving standards at HWPH after it was placed into special measures by Care Quality Commission inspectors. The Chair of Frimley Health NHS FT is Sir Michael Aaronson CBE. The Chief Executive is Sir Andrew Morris. Frimley Park Hospital NHS Trust gained NHS Foundation Trust status on 1 April 2005, one of the first NHS hospital trusts in the country.
